BOTE 2002

Toadville has signed up to send a team of our best players to BOTE 2002 at FEN.  For those that don't know, BOTE is the tourny in the TW community that is basically the best of the best of the tradewars servers.  It's usually a long, hard and intense game which requires a lot of time and dedication.  If you would like to go to the official BOTE website, please click HERE.

Now for the down and dirty part.  For those of you who haven't ventured beyond the confines of my little server, the tw world out there is nasty.  Where you can last a few weeks or a month in a game here, you might only last 5 days against some of the teams out there.  I used to participate in the TWLeague, and those were some tough games, and they didn't have ALL the good players in one game......

I'm allowed to send up to 6 players from tradewars to represent our server.  I don't plan to play unless there just aren't 6 people out there that want to do it.  If Pesty wants to participate, he will be the CEO of the corp, and will have ultimate authority of the corp.  As for the players that will play, i'm not sure how best to determine that.  Pesty and I will work out details on how to pick the team.  

This is a chance to show of what our little corner of the universe has been hiding for the past couple years.  I've gotten many compliments on the server, and the players from the server, which is not just cudos for me, but for ya'll as well.  I may own this server (and pay the bills, and fight with the hardware, and software, and....) but i hope you all think of it as your server, and a home.  This above all else is why this server is here. 

Ok, i've babbled long enough, and anyone who's really quick is wondering why the hell this page isn't up yet :)  Please send me your feed back, and feel free to CC pesty on it too (since i'll probably forward anything you DIDN'T CC to him anyway) since he will help me in deciding everything.
